Waterfall

We went with David Family to the camp on Lake Victoria.  while we were there we hiked to a waterfall.  We climbed another way to the top of the waterfall.  It was cool!  After that we went up stream and we found another waterfall and we climbed up that one too.  Then we found a road that went back to the camp.  It was fun!

I was riding my bike to primary.  There was a path with maize on one side and sweet potatoes on the other side.  The maize was very high so I couldn't see around the turn.  When I turned the corner I saw a man with a blue shirt and  . . . BOOM!  I had been hit by a motorcycle.  I flew onto the ground off my bike. I looked down and saw a deep cut in my foot and scrapes all over my body.  The man took me to the clinic and a nurse put ointment and bandages on.  I got a ride home on the motorcycle which was the best part.  My foot is healing up well.

Cow In A Hole

On Tuesday afternoon I was biking around with Kynan and Tiegan.  We went to the basketball court.  There was a pit with a cow in it!  They pulled it out from its horn and its tail.  Then it was lying on the ground like it was dead.  After one minute it got and walked away.

Gym Class

On Wednesday and Friday we have a gym class.  It is at 9:15 to 9:45.  Aunt Crissy, who is a teacher here, teaches us.  We do relay races and games.  My favourite game is One fish, two fish, red fish blue fish.  It is like red light, green light but you also have to hide a stick from the person who is it.  It is fun to do.

Hockey in Uganda

When my Dad came back from Canada he brought 6 hockey sticks and a big hockey net.  We put it on the porch at the house we are living in on secondary.  I am teaching some Ugandans how to play hockey.  One day I brought it to the basketball court to play with my friends.  I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Wilson

This is my friend Wilson.  He is in Jonathan family.  He's half of my size but he is one year older than me.  He wasn't cared for very well before he came to Jonathan family.  He laughs at everything even at himself.  He's very friendly and talks to me in Luganda.  He thinks I know Luganda and always talks to me.  I do know how to say "Jangu" which means "Come" and then he comes running.  I would like to learn more Luganda so I could talk to him.  On Saturday we built things with blocks on our front porch.
