In The Village

We went to our sponser child's house in the village yesterday. I gave our sponser child and his little brother a tennis ball. They gave us a chicken!! We went to the family group to see if we could keep it there for the night. We are going to have it for dinner tonight!! A boy in our family group is going to slaughter it.

Football Team

I have football (soccer) on Friday. This is my second time doing it. My coach is Uncle K. He works in the Institute. We play at the field on the primary site by the Guest House.

Exciting Events

Now it is only one more day until we live on the secondary site. The team just finished painting the house so it smells like paint! I am in a football team (soccer) that plays on Fridays in the afternoon.

We are in Uganda finally! The first day we were here Uncle T and Christina's friend picked us up at the airport. Then we went to Garden City which is a mall in Kampala (the capital city). We ate lunch at the New York Kitchen there and had a humongous, giant pizza. Then I slept the rest of the way to New Hope. We are living in the Brown’s house. We arrived in on Canada Day. We went to the 4th of July celebration at the guest house. Three more days till we move into Aunt Nancy’s house.
